Do you seem to get stressed out or anxious easily? It’s a normal human response to things that are out of our control. It’s hard sometimes to just go with the flow, but sometimes it’s needed.
How about this, have you ever wanted something so bad that it was hard for you to wait? I can definitely relate! It’s been awhile since I’ve written a post, life has been so hard lately, and my heart is anxious. I’m in the process of finding another job because of unforeseen circumstances. It’s so hard to wait to hear if you got the job or not. I feel like I’ve been waiting for weeks! Even though it hasn’t even been a week since the interview. I know it takes awhile to hear back. It’s still hard. This is especially true when it’s a position that you truly want.
I’ve been dealing with a lot of doubt, and constantly thinking, “will they want me?” “Did I say the right things in the interview?” “What will I do if I don’t get this job?” Well, let’s start with this. If God wants me to have this position, He will make it happen. He’s already worked it out to even have an interview. I prayed and prayed that God would give me the words to say in the interview. So why am I questioning if I said the right things? He gave me the words to say. If I don’t get this position, then He has something else planned for me.
He knows the desires of my heart, and He knows just how much I want this job. This is where having faith and trusting God with my future comes hand in hand. It’s a hard place to be, but something that you constantly have to be reminded of. Stepping out in faith is challenging but necessary. It means that you are trusting God.
So, whatever you are going through. Remember that God is in control and has your best at hand. He knows the desires of your heart. Step out in faith and trust Him. I saw this verse. It was a great comfort to me with what I’m going through right now. I hope you find comfort in it as well.
Isaiah 43:19 – “Do not lose hope in times of trouble, for God is working in the unseen. His hand is steady, and his timing is perfect in bringing good out of difficulty.”
His hand is steady, while mine shake is anxiousness. He is my hope in times of trouble. He’s working even though I can’t see it. His timing is perfect to bring me out of difficulties, while my timing is not.
He knows our future, He’s had our life planned from the very beginning. I need to trust Him. I know that He’s been paving the way. Even though I may not see it. Behind the scenes, He’s doing great things!
